Gemscale Troubleshooting

Symptom

The numbers will not make sense. There are gross changes,especially taking the pan on and off the scale. A reading might be 25.00 once, but put it on again and it might read 23.21 or 27.01. Very frustrating.

Diagnosis

Remove the pan and check the gap between the cover and the moving sensor part. If it is very uneven, or if dirt or stones have become stuck in it, the sensor will rub against the cover and will cause this problem.

Carefully clean any foreign material from the gap. Never use liquids as they may spill into the sensor and create an even worse problem!

Solution

If the problem remains, you must return it to us for repair.
